About Luke Duffy
Luke Duffy was born and raised on the South Coast of the UK near Brighton, East Sussex. From an early age he developed a flair for photography, developing his photographs in his home made dark room in his bedroom at the tender age of 9. By 18 he was a regular exhibitor at the National Gallery in London and at 22 he landed his first regular job as a photographer for a local Brighton newspaper, the Daily Blog.
At 25 he was head hunted by National Geographic Magazine and landed his first assignment in war torn Kosovo. As a result of his assignment he was awarded the Golden Palm at the International Media Awards. From there on he became a household name, working freelance, developing his own unique style. He worked with other artists including David Bailey and Lord Lichfield, and worked for publications such as Playboy, The Pirelli Calendar, The Times (UK), OK magazine and Sussex Life.
Having grown weary of fame and fortune, Duffy bought a small island off the South Coast of Australia where he now spends the winter months, preferring Summer sunshine to the bleak UK drizzle. He returns for the Briish Summer where he runs his exclusive gallery situated on Brighton Sea Front.
This biography of Duffy is, of course, completely fictitious and not intended to be taken seriously.
